NIGERIA @ 66: APC RENEWED HOPE GLOBAL, RUSSIA CHAPTER CELEBRATES WITH NIGERIA, COMMENDS PRESIDENT TINUBU’S RENEWED HOPE REFORMS
The leadership and entire members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) / Renewed Hope Global, Russia Chapter, ably led by Engr. Olabode Jones Ajimijere, join millions of Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora to celebrate Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
Today, we celebrate 66 years of resilience, unity, and hope. We celebrate a nation blessed with great people, rich culture, and abundant resources. Nigeria has come a long way, and though the journey has not been without challenges, we remain a strong, indivisible and progressive nation.
We particularly felicitate with His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for his visionary and courageous leadership.
Under the Renewed Hope Agenda, the present administration has taken bold and necessary steps to reset our nation’s economy and restore Nigeria’s pride. We commend:
- The bold economic reforms including fuel subsidy removal and foreign exchange unification to stabilize our economy and attract foreign investment.
- Renewed focus on national security and strengthening of our Armed Forces to combat insecurity.
- Massive investments in infrastructure, student loan scheme (NELFUND), and renewed drive for food security and local production.
- Strengthening of Nigeria’s global image and strategic bilateral relations, including Nigeria-Russia relations.
These reforms, though demanding patience, are laying a solid foundation for a more prosperous and sustainable Nigeria for generations to come.
We, Nigerians in Russia, are proud ambassadors of our great nation. We pledge our continued loyalty, support and prayers for the success of this administration.
On this Independence Day, we call on all Nigerians, both at home and abroad, to remain united, patriotic and hopeful. Let us continue to support the government and work together to build the Nigeria of our dreams.
