Yoruba Nollywood actress, Juwon Adewunmi, has opened up about the unique understanding she shares with her husband concerning infidelity in their marriage. Speaking candidly during an interview on Talk to B Podcast, Adewunmi revealed that her husband is remarkably open about his affairs and does not hide his extramarital relationships from her.
According to Adewunmi, her husband is always transparent and confesses when he has been with another woman. After each confession, he asks for her forgiveness and makes sure to check if she truly accepts his apology, even asking, “Are we good now?” to ensure she has forgiven him completely.
The actress also stated that her husband openly talks about his girlfriends, admitting to having multiple relationships outside of their marriage. She praised his honesty, saying he is someone who “does not know how to lie or keep secrets” from her.
Adewunmi compared Nigerian men to white men, acknowledging that both groups are prone to infidelity. However, she noted a key difference—while Nigerian men often hide their affairs, her husband always admits to his wrongdoings, which is why their marriage continues to work despite the infidelity.
