Nigerian social media personality Jarvis has threatened legal action against her husband, Peller, after a reported disagreement over his plan to marry another woman.
In a video shared on Jarvis’ Snapchat page, she questioned why the issue of a second wife had reportedly surfaced only a few months after their marriage.
Jarvis claimed that Peller had identified himself as a Muslim before their marriage and had told her that any woman he intended to marry as a second wife would also be Muslim.
She, however, alleged that the reported plan was inconsistent with the understanding she had before agreeing to the marriage.
Expressing her displeasure, Jarvis questioned why Peller was allegedly discussing another wife so soon after their wedding.
“I will sue Peller. He’s telling me he’s a Muslim and that he will marry a Muslim girl. Our marriage is not even up to four months, and he’s already threatening to get a second wife, and she must be a Muslim like him. This is not what you told me before I agreed to marry you,” she said.
Jarvis further maintained that she would pursue legal action if Peller proceeded with what she described as a departure from the agreement she understood before their marriage.
She also referred to her own Muslim background while expressing frustration over the situation.
The social media personality ended her remarks with a series of heated statements directed at her husband, reiterating that she would not accept the alleged change in their marital arrangement.
The development has since drawn attention on social media, with users reacting to the couple’s reported disagreement.
