My dear people of Ogun East, and fellow Nigerians,
Today, we celebrate more than 66 years of independence. We celebrate the courage of a people who, through every challenge, have refused to give up on Nigeria.
We have known difficult seasons. We have felt the weight of hardship. Yet, every morning, millions of Nigerians rise again — to work, to dream, to provide for their families, and to believe that tomorrow can still be better.
That is the Nigerian spirit.
And that spirit must inspire a new commitment to leadership built on service, fairness, compassion and accountability.
To every young person searching for opportunity, every mother working for a better future for her children, every farmer, trader, artisan and professional — your dreams matter, your voice matters, and your future matters.
For us in Ogun East, let us continue building communities where hope becomes opportunity and representation remains connected to the people.
Nigeria’s greatest days can still be ahead of us.
Let us believe. Let us build. Let us rise — together.
Happy Independence Day, Nigeria.
