Renowned Nigerian media personality Nedu Wazobia has resigned from his podcast, “The Honest Bunch,” in the face of intense criticism and controversy.
On February 14, 2025, he took to Instagram to announce his resignation, stating that “intense scrutiny” and “unfounded accusations” were the grounds behind his decision.
The scandal started when Martins Ortse, also known as VeryDarkMan, a social media critic, said that Nedu had approached a female content producer named Jojo about having sex for film parts.
This accusation surfaced during his ongoing conflict with Deeone, a stand-up comedian who had been on Nedu’s podcast.
Nedu wrote in his resignation statement that he was saddened and frustrated by the constant abuse and deception he had experienced.
